The 4th edition on DevCon returns IN-PERSON on 9-10th November

DevCon, the premium conference dedicated to Romanian IT professionals and developers, returns on 9-10 November in a new format, both physically in Bucharest and online.

For 2 days, DevCon intends to shape a tech hub of development and learning in an edition that will take place at NORD Events Center by Globalworth Pipera, where over 400 participants are physically expected to attend both days of the event. At the same time, the organizers expect more than 4000 specialists to join the virtual event created to be accessible to the entire IT community in Romania and beyond. This year, participants from countries such as the Republic of Moldova, Ukraine, the United Kingdom and Germany will join the event.

The 4th edition is being prepared with a trusted partner, Systematic - DevCon 2022 Main Partner. The event comes with surprises targeting both the attendee experience on site, through dedicated areas aimed at creating a unique atmosphere, as well as the presence of speakers and leaders with prestigious names in the IT&C industry at a global level.

On 9-10 November, the event organisers have prepared 4 dedicated stages covering Java, DevOps, Data, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Web & Mobile. There will also be 2 masterclass scenes, specifically designed to provide an in-depth content for attendees who want to learn more about technical topics with industry experts in one hour and 30 minutes sessions. IT professionals are also expected to participate in the Open Talks stage, which will discuss empathy in teams, trends in automotive and finance, and other industry topics of interest.

The event will be opened on the first day by the Main Partner, Systematic, and then the microphone will be taken in turn by experienced speakers from companies such as RedHat, Meta, Microsoft, Amazon Web Services and provide the IT audience with the best information in the industry. The main partner of the event will be represented on the Java stage on November 9 by Thomas Vitale, Software Architect at Systematic, who will surprise the audience with a session called "Kubernetes Native Java with Spring Boot", and on November 10, Thomas will also hold a virtual masterclass on "Developer Experience with Java on Kubernetes". The second day of the event will open with a session on the DevOps scene held by Alexandru Dejanu, Site Reliability Engineer at Systematic, with the focus on "Cloud Native leads the willing and drags along the reluctant - Seneca".
